Septic Systems
At Low Country Earthworks, we go above and beyond to assure that your system will be installed professionally by meeting and exceeding state and local regulations. All systems are installed to exact specifications with no shortcuts to save on cost. We want your septic system to function efficiently and without failure for when you depend on it most!

Chamber system
A leaching chamber is a wastewater treatment system consisting of trenches or beds, together with one or more distribution pipes or open-bottomed plastic chambers, installed in appropriate soils. These chambers receive wastewater flow from a septic tank or other treatment device and transmit it into soil for final treatment and disposal.
Septic Stack system
The septic stack pipe system is a popular robust system when installed properly. One of the big advantages is the reduced product height when used in a mound system. A continuous loop distribution pipe carries effluent throughout the system while void pipes take the place of gravel in a "conventional system" allowing the system to leach.

Conventional Gravel & Pipe
The conventional gravel and pipe system is the benchmark on which all systems are derived from. While possibly being the most robust system available, it's also on of the most labor intensive systems to install which sometimes brings the highest cost.
Distribution box
Many installers consider the distribution box to be the "brains" of the system. In a conventional trench system the D-box evenly distributes effluent to the individual trenches. Using a D-box in a level field system is not required but it allows for diagnosing a system down the road to determine where your failure has occurred.
